It\u2019s a day many local businesses look forward to each year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to Cravings Gourmet Popcorn and Soda Pop Market\u2019s owner it brings about people they normally don\u2019t see.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cSmall Business Saturday has always been a pretty busy day for us. We see a lot of people we don\u2019t always see. It\u2019s almost like people come out of the woodworks to support small business,\u201d said Jordan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Despite the hardships of the pandemic, Jordan explained there has been positives about these uncertain times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThe pandemic has been interesting for a lot of reasons. We\u2019ve had a lot of growth and there\u2019s been a lot of silver linings attached to that,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s just been an interesting journey trying to figure out how we can strive to thrive and grow and continue to achieve our mission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Reflections Boutique owner Keisha Howe said Small Business Saturday is something her customers have been looking forward to.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThe customers have been very excited. I\u2019ve gotten tons of positive feedback,\u201d said Howe. \u201cEverybody is just ready to get out and have a little bit of a social interaction. Of course, while wearing our cute masks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Howe said the community in Charlotte has been helping her business to thrive during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cMy community is incredible and everybody usually comes together to show support,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u00a0Black Friday is over and Small Business Saturday is upon us.
