The Big Ten Conference announced Sunday (Dec. 13) that the\u00a0University of Michigan\u00a0football team\u00a0will face No. 17-ranked Iowa in a cross-division matchup during the conference’s Champions Week slate (Dec. 18-19). This will be the first time the Big Ten has played a series of cross-divisional during the week slated for the Big Ten Championship game.<\/p>\n
Michigan (2-4) and Iowa (6-2) will square off at 7 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 19) at Kinnick Stadium in\u00a0Iowa City, Iowa. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.<\/p>\n
This will be the 62nd meeting between Michigan and Iowa. The Wolverines hold a 42-15-4 lead in the all-time series and have won 13 of the last 21 games, including last season’s closely contested 10-3 U-M victory at\u00a0Michigan Stadium.<\/p>\n
